Chocolate for breakfast? yes please.
How? The Ferrero Rocher Smoothie.
Ferrero Rochers have always been my fave Christmas treat; the gold wrapping and french name always make them feel so luxurious. I used to hide them in my bedroom away from the rest of the family, and savour them slowly. So slowly there would still be a stale one in April. (what that says about my relationship with food is another story..)
This Christmas I had ferrero rocher and was reminded of my turbulent love affair with the luxurious chocolate, and while I ate chocolate for breakfast I had the idea for this smoothie.
After spending the holidays with my family and indulging in home cooked meals and decadent desserts I’m ready to get back to normal eating habits, and one of my staples are smoothies for breakfast. They’re such an easy way to make a quickie brekie that packs a major punch. This ferrero rocher smoothie helped me ease the transition from chocolate for breakfast to my new year wellness goals.
So in honour of all of us who still wish we could eat chocolate for breakfast I created this healthy ferrero rocher smoothie that you would never know is a well rounded breakfast. Enjoy 🙂
